Laila Wah offers a Nine Month Feng Shui Certification Program. Feng Shui means gentle wind, calm water. It is both a geomancy science and Acupuncture for your home, office and environment. Feng Shui, part of a “tree of knowledge”, known as the Eight Branches, is a Chinese Taoist Healing Art which has prevailed for 8,000 years in China and other Asian countries. Both an earth science and an art form, Feng Shui Principles impart the concepts of Energy Qi Flow, Harmony, Balance which produces Beauty - a higher principle which reflects the Celestial Qualities. The science of energy analysis and arrangement practices were known to the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Indians, and the native populations of North and South America.

This in-depth 165 hours plus program offers study into a variety of Feng Shui schools: The Tibetan Black Hat Sect, The Compass School and the Form School. There are nine months of classroom instruction and on-site examination. Classes meet one Monday and one weekend monthly. Independent study, on-site Feng Shui evaluations, required reading, photographic presentations, testing and student site evaluations are part of this program. A certificate of completions is awarded after successful completions of all course requirements which includes: quizzes, tests, reports, homework assignments, case studies, required reading and student site evaluations. Some classes are held off-campus. Off campus locations will be determined by Laila Wah.

1. Understanding the roots and structure of Feng Shui; its natural Law - Tao, Yin/Yang, Qi analysis, Earth Energies and system analysis.
2. Assessing the Exterior Spaces: environmental configurations, earth qi, materials, construction and building relationship to the environment. Use of the Ba Gua.
3. Assessing the Interior Spaces: Qi Flow, compass direction, gua orientations, interior structure, design assessments.
4. The Five Elements: Applications an assessments for interior and exterior sites.
5. Analysis of Room by Room: The parts that comprise the whole analysis indoors.
6. Creating Personal Spaces: Design materials, furniture, fabrics, color etc.
7. Feng Shui for the Office and Professional Work Space: Taking the principles to commercial and home office spaces.
8. Space Clearing and Blessings: Meditation, interior and exterior spatial healings, and transcendental cures.
9. Case Studies and On-Site Student Evaluations: Student study in action.
